PLAY GROUP

Our Playgroup programme is designed for children between the age group of 1.8 years to 3 years. At The Nurtuary, in Playgroup a child is involved in myriad of activities that focuses on fun learning through rhymes, story-telling, puppet play, character play etc. The programme aims at developing writing and reading readiness, cognition, socialization, sensorial learning and life skills. To develop their fine motor skills, children are made to scribble and colour with crayons. They are also involved in finger printing, object printing and tearing and pasting activities. For development of large muscles of the body, gross motor activities range from gymnastics and running and jumping activities to dancing. In this programme, a child is also introduced to pre-reading skills that involves recognition of alphabets and numbers.
